Most of us know what it feels like to want something and not move towards it. The wish is real. The plan may even be sensible. Yet weeks pass and the picture on the wall stays a picture.
Vision, Alignment, Creation is the three-step framework Lorena uses in her Spiritual Coaching at Soulful by Lorena to close that gap. It is simple enough to remember, and you can start using the questions in this post today, on your own, with a pen.
In short
- Vision: get specific about the life that calls you, in detail you can picture.
- Alignment: find where your beliefs, habits or energy contradict that picture, and resolve it.
- Creation: turn the picture into concrete steps, small practices and accountability.
- Skipping the middle step is why many plans stall. It is also where ThetaHealing is often used.
Why a framework helps at all
Change feels slippery when it is only a mood. "I want a calmer life" or "I want to feel more confident" cannot be scheduled, measured or checked at the end of the week.
A framework turns a mood into a sequence. It tells you what to do first, what to do next, and what to look for when you get stuck. That matters because getting stuck is normal, and it usually has a reason. Having a map for the stuck moments is more useful than a pep talk.
The sequence here is deliberate. Clarity comes before action, and honesty comes before effort. Effort spent in the wrong direction, or against an old belief you have not looked at, only produces tiredness.
Step one: Vision
Vision is not a mood board or a slogan. It is a description precise enough that another person could picture your life from it.
Questions to try
- If a stranger followed you for one ordinary Tuesday in the life you want, what would they see?
- What is different about how you spend your mornings, your money and your attention?
- Who is around you, and how do you speak to each other?
- What are you no longer doing?
Write answers as plain sentences, in the present tense. "I finish work at five and cook without rushing" is far more useful than "I want better balance."
Precision matters because a vague picture cannot guide small decisions, and small decisions are where a life actually gets built. If you find you cannot answer, that is information too. Working out what you want is part of the process, and you do not need a polished goal to begin.
Step two: Alignment
Alignment is the step most self-help skips. Once the picture is clear, you look honestly at what inside you disagrees with it.
Contradictions tend to be quiet. You may want a loving relationship while holding a belief that closeness leads to hurt. You may want to earn more while feeling uneasy about being seen to succeed. You may want rest while believing you only deserve it once everything is done. None of these is a flaw. They are old conclusions, often formed long ago, that still run in the background.
Spotting a contradiction
Try finishing these sentences quickly, without editing:
- "If I really had that life, the thing I would worry about is…"
- "People like me don't…"
- "The last time I tried, what happened was…"
The answers often point straight at a belief. Five common signs that one is at work are set out in five signs a limiting belief is running your life.
Where ThetaHealing can help
Seeing a contradiction is not the same as dissolving it. Many people understand their pattern perfectly and still feel it pulling. This is where Lorena may suggest a ThetaHealing session. In the ThetaHealing framework, a guided meditation brings you to the theta brainwave state, generally linked with deep relaxation, where the subconscious root of a pattern is said to show itself. With your explicit permission, the limiting belief is released and replaced with one that serves the life you described in step one.
Nothing is changed without your agreement, and you stay aware and in control. For a full walkthrough, see what actually happens in a ThetaHealing session.
Step three: Creation
With a clear picture and fewer internal contradictions, effort finally has somewhere to go. Creation is where the vision becomes ordinary life.
It usually has three parts:
- Concrete steps. Specific actions with dates, not intentions. One or two a week is plenty.
- Simple daily practices. Small repeatable habits that anchor the new direction, such as a five-minute evening note or a regular time for the task you used to avoid.
- Accountability. Someone who checks in, notices what is working and helps you adjust without judgement.
Creation is also where you learn the most. Some steps will feel easy, some will expose a belief you had not noticed, and that is a signal to loop back to alignment rather than a sign of failure. The framework is a cycle more than a straight line.
A worked example
Imagine someone whose vision is a calm working life that leaves evenings free. In step one they describe leaving the office on time, eating with their family and switching their phone off.
In step two they notice a sentence: "if I stop, everything will fall apart." That belief explains why every previous attempt to leave on time ended with guilt. They explore it, and with ThetaHealing they release it.
In step three they choose one action, handing over a single recurring task, and one practice, a closing ritual at the end of the day. Accountability comes from a check-in the following week. The example is illustrative rather than a real client story, but it shows how the three steps lean on one another.
Where Vision, Alignment, Creation fits in Lorena's approach
The framework is the "create" half of Lorena's method, which she calls release, then create. ThetaHealing releases what holds you back, and coaching focuses your energy on what you want to build. You can read more in release, then create: the method behind Soulful by Lorena, or explore the Spiritual Coaching page.
This work is about direction and inner alignment. It does not promise particular results, and it is not therapy. It complements professional mental-health and medical care. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a mental-health professional first.
Working through the framework with Lorena
Sessions are one-to-one, online on Zoom, in English or Albanian at the same price. A Single Session at €170 (75 minutes) can bring focus to one step, for example getting a vision precise. The 5-Session Transformation at €710 follows a guided arc, and the 3-Month Journey at €1,250 and 6-Month Deep Transformation at €2,500 give more time for each stage. The sessions and packages page shows the options side by side.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Vision, Alignment, Creation framework?
It is the three-stage arc of Lorena's Spiritual Coaching. You get precise about the life you want, find and resolve what contradicts it inside you, then build it through concrete steps and accountability.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before starting?
No. Clarifying your vision is the first stage, so uncertainty is a perfectly good starting point. Most people begin with a rough direction and sharpen it as they go.
How is this different from ordinary goal-setting?
Standard goal-setting goes from goal straight to action. This framework adds the alignment step in between, which looks at the beliefs and habits that decide whether you actually follow through.
Can I use the framework on my own?
Yes. The questions in this post work without a coach. Many people find that working with someone helps with the alignment step in particular, because beliefs are hard to see from the inside.
How long does each step take?
There is no fixed timetable. It depends on your starting point and what you bring. The free discovery call is a good place to talk through what pace would suit you.
